Industry cooling circuit with Aquasonic at Bekaert (Belgium)
The department Stainless Wire of the company NV Bekaert SA* in Zwevegem (Belgium) was confronted with a serious algae problem in the cold water. These algae blocked the filter system and it was possible only with chemicals, to more or less control the problem. This was however a very costly treatment process, which was not sufficient, in order to keep the pool walls completely free of algae.
