The small feet carry sand and grass in the children pool, insects lose their way there like greenery and bird faeces, and the cold water presses the small one on the nose. Paddling pools are pure bacteria-hoards. Therefore the water must be changed latest every two to three days. If the water gets heated by the sun, many harmful substances are dissolved, poisonous substances germinate, which can release from the material of  the pool.

Almost all children pools fail. Hard top case pools get the grade "satisfactory". Especially terrifying is the value for softeners (Phthalate), which is found in Gramm region. Softeners are applied, in order to make the PVC, from which most of the paddling pools are made, elastic. They have been banned in toys, which the small children put in their mouth, for more than tow years. However: Children even scratch on the rim of the pool and – still worse - the Phthalate dissolves in bath water. Most of the products contain large quantities of TBT, DBT and other tin organic compounds. The laboratory found the highly poisonous Tributyl tin (TBT) two times in very large quantities. The results for Dibutyl tin (DBT), a harmful substance from the same substance group, are still more thoughtful. Even other health critical tin organic compounds were found in raw quantities in material of four pools. The nerve poison was also found in a few pools. Apart from that a few products include the heavy metals antimony, chromium and cadmium. These harmful substances do not dissolve in water from the material ...
